anyone have a police dog? i challange it. one on one. being bit dosnt hurt that much. its fear that causes people not to fight dogs. when it bites and holds on your arm,thats the perfect set up to grab with your free hand, swing it around and bounce its spine off a tree.

These dogs are Belgian Malinois. Very impressive dogs with very high drive. They usually win agility, speed, and biting contests in schutzhund but some cop buddies of mine who work with the K9 division told me that they are not as great at tracking as German Shepherds. Cool how the LE guys here lay down suppressing fire with their handguns while the dog flanks the suspect-combatants!

Hell yeah! I love Police dogs. We have a few at the Prison I work at and I love using them instead of a 4 man extraction team whenever we have a non-compliant inmate. The do the job better, faster, and make it a hell of a lot safer for me and my Officers! Not to mention that most inmates whimp out once the hear the dog getting all worked up about coming in. To the dog it's just a fun game.. lol.

These are really well trained dogs. But you know, if we trained attack dogs like that in this country, the perp would take the police to court. and then some soft-hearted liberal judge would screw things up and go easy of the guy. I'm all for what the French have here..don't get me wrong, I'm not pro-French. But credit should go where credit is due.

if we trained our police dogs like that here in america, we'd do a lot better at stopping criminals. maybe some would be too scared to do anything.
